Nvidia Driver Mac Os X Mojave

Hi Jaycmeza! Can you open the System Report for your video card and see if it reports as Metal compatible? To do this click the Apple logo in the upper right, and then 'About this Mac'. Then click on 'System Report'. On the left column, click on 'Graphics/Displays'. Can you post a screenshot of this page? For an example of what it should look like, here is mine with my GTX 960.

That must because Nvidia released no web drivers drivers for Mojave at that time. That's from what i've read on several topics on the web. And this is a major issue I hope there will be a fix of some sort very soon. My config: GIGABYTE GA-Z270P-D3 Intel Core i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20 GHz RAM 16 Go - Ballistix Elite 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 UDIMM. Apr 24, 2020  Mac Pro introduced in 2013, plus mid-2010 or mid-2012 models with a recommended Metal-capable graphics card. To find your Mac model, memory, storage space, and macOS version, choose About This Mac from the Apple menu. If your Mac isn't compatible with macOS Mojave, the installer will let you know. So i'm having a Mac pro 2018 using OS Mojave. I heard that we can't install NVIDIA driver on Mojave. So I don't know if there are anyway to install NVIDIA Driver on Mojave (i found some youtube video but idk if it's work okay). And is it worth it to downgrade back to high sierra (is there any drawback from it).

While I haven't tried to install Mojave yet, I'd imagine it won't work without the latest Nvidia web drivers. It took them around 3-4 months to come out with the High Sierra ones, I'd imagine the same will be true with Mojave.

EDIT:updated picture

Hope it helps!

MacRumors spoke to an Nvidia representative about the Nvidia drivers and lack of approval for the drivers. In fact, Apple isn’t even consistently communicating with Nvidia about the ongoing issue.
